WHY LOTUS

While spending her honeymoon in Thailand immersed in the culture, the lotus flower became of significant importance to Eva.  The lotus flower grows from the bottom of streams and muddy ponds to rise above the water and bloom.  At night, it closes and sinks below the water, just to resurface again, untouched the next day.

In Thai and Buddhist culture the lotus seed symbolizes growth and the ability to rise above obstacles.
